  1. What is an abscessed tooth? An abscessed tooth is referred to as a pocket of pus which also result in bacterial infection. Due to this, it causes severe pain which can reach the ear or neck. The cause of this is when some unwanted thing gets attach to the gum such as toothbrush bristle, popcorn hull, or some other thing. If these problems are not treated it can cause severe pain.
